WARM DATA is not something you can hold on to, control, plan it, explain in simply, fake it...

As we continue these conversations there are a lot of different non-verbal descriptions of warm data emerging from the soil that we will be sharing here.

For this series the amazing Reilly Dow is sharing with us the first layer as a description of the first podcast.

Reilly sharing with the second layer...different structures, different shapes, difficult moments...

Different forms, different media, different perceptions...noticing the relationships between them.

What is happening when teenagers are using People Need People meetings on weekly basis... How they understand warm data and what can we learn with each other...

Double binds are and essential piece of complex systems thinking and learning that were first time described by Gregory Bateson. As Nora says if there was one thing she would need to choose to talk about it would be DOUBLE BINDS.

This one was also about warm data being noticed and supported by the Club of Rome. Also about bringing PNP sessions to 10.000 communities. We were talking about and within the thought piece: Finding a way,  together with two amazing people - Nora Bateson and dr. Mamphela Ramphele. The thinking is inviting a warmer response to the emergencies of the coming decades through revisiting a famous metaphor introduced by Garret Hardin, and looking at it differently. Warmer.

"If you can't measure it, you can't manage it."

A very well know culture assumption that we are living in our systems. We started talking about measurement in a warmer way. Where is it all beginning, what else is possible, what are the important questions to explore...
